XI FESTIVAL OF SCIENCE, Krakow 11 – 14 May 2011

This year's festival will be held with numerous presentations, lectures, meetings, exhibitions and tours. It will be free to perform research and medical advice. On the opening day on the Main Square there will be a university's choir concert together with light's and a sound show. XI Grand Dragon Parade, Kraków 4 – 5 June 2011

Grand Dragon Parade is a very spectacular event, which brings together a number of smaller events. Among them are the title parade of dragons, knights and ladies of the court, involving thousands of children, walking the main streets of Old Town. Next is Dragon Family Picnic, which hosts competitions, concerts and shows of theater groups. At the end of the event a Great Outdoor Show is organized on the Vistula River. II LIFE FESTIVAL Oświęcim, 11 – 18 June 2011

Auschwitz Life Festival is an international music festival, the main idea is to build peaceful relations across international borders and cultures. Not coincidental, the place where the festival takes place was not chosen by coincidence. WIANKI i JARMARK ŚWIĘTOJAŃSKI Kraków, June 2011

The Wreaths Festival in Krakow is one of the largest Polish outdoor events, referring to the ancient pagan rites. The new formula combines the tradition of the event with St John's Night and with concerts of world-class stars. Wreaths Festival is accompanied by the Midsummer Night's Fair, which takes us back in to the times of the medieval town with its customs, traditions, crafts and dances. At the end of the events there is organized a big fireworks display to round the event off with. It is not surprising that the area around the Wawel Castle, where these events take place, is visited by vast crowds of Polish and foreign tourists on these days. 43 INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MOUNTAIN FOLKLORE Zakopane, 19 – 26 August 2011

The International Festival of Mountain Folklore in Zakopane is a great cultural event that is more than a forty year old tradition. Folklore groups from all over the world come to Zakopane to present authentic highlander folklore, while competing for top awards competition: Gold, Silver and Bronze Highlanders Ax. The aim of the festival is to cultivate and protect the cultural heritage of mountain regions, as well as promoting Polish folk culture and the folklore of the Podhale region. XII PODHALAŃSKI's FAIR Nowy Targ , 19 - 21 August 2011

Nowy Targ is a small town that has been famous for centuries-for the old tradition of an open air street market. To this day, twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays, on a huge area just outside the town, this market is still organized. It is known as one of the largest in Poland.
